Many people in the world believe that the TALIBAN destroyed the Giant Budda for religious reasons!
This is and was UNTRUE.
The TALIBAN believed there was GREAT TREASURE hidden behind the GIANT BUDDA!!!
They had heard rumors of great wealth and treasures behind the GIANT BUDDA. Rumors of great treasures have been around for thousands of years. It is not new or unordinary.
The Taliban, Jim Jones people, Nazis, and the list is long, they all are looking for wealth in gold, jewels and other material things. They don't really believe in GOD. Any concept of GOD.
GOD is all around us. Yes HE provides this world for us for good or evil. It is up to us.
